We celebrated the girls Simchat Bat (the joy of a daughter) also called a naming ceremony the night of their conversion. It was a beautiful ceremony filled with many kind words about the girls and our family and the girls received their Hebrew names. Faye, Eliana (close to her middle name, Elyse, and it means God has answered, he certainly answered our prayers when she came into our lives) and Maddie, Mara (close to her middle name, Marie, and after her grandmother and cousin). We were blessed to have Big Daddy in town during this very special time.

The family on the canopy walk at UBC botanical gardens
Canopy walk, Faye loved it and had no fear, Maddie liked it, but wanted someone holding on to her at all times. The canopy walk is a walk in the trees and gets pretty high up on the air.
