School's out for summer...

Summer is getting kicked off to a fun start, what a difference a year makes!

Our first bike outing as a family...for Car-Free Day on Commercial Drive (so we had lots of street and only pedestrians to worry about).  By the end of the summer Maddie hopes to be using pedals, too!

Maddie and Helen, her other teacher.  These were also Faye's teachers last year, we are going to miss them! 

Kids Zone at the Canadiens Baseball game.  This is an obstacle course, David is standing between Faye and Maddie, who are waiting for their turn to race.  Faye took this VERY seriously.  She did it several times.  She got beat once...by a 7 year old boy, she cried and did not let that happen again.  

This is Maddie going through the obstacle course, I wasn't quick enough to get Faye.  Maddie would stop and jump, saying look Mom, it's a bouncy castle.  She enjoyed it, too just a little differently than Faye.  They also enjoyed the game and got to run the bases, at full speed, after the game, it was pretty darn cute.
