Galiano Island

The annual bike trip to Galiano Island was another big hit.  It's 2 nights of camping in tents, 10 dads and 19 kids.  They ferry over and bike from the ferry dock 6 km to the campsite (6km of hills).  David and 2 other dads biked themselves, their kids and all of their camp gear to the campsite.  David loaded up our bike trailer with the girls and as much gear as possible, then attached another trailer with the rest of his gear, his load was long and heavy!  This was Maddie's first, she loved it.  Faye loved it just as much this year as her first trip 2 years ago.  Everyone had a great time, including the Moms who got a little free time and for some (me) it was our first time since having kids to have a weekend alone.  I certainly missed them, but very much enjoyed myself! 

Camping with Daddy means there is beer and Kirin, Faye and Maddie kindly carried it.
