Happy Hanukkah

Hanukkah was fun. We celebrated with a party with jewish friends in the hood. The girls enjoyed spinning the driedel, lighting the candles each night, opening gifts, latkes, gelt and jelly donuts.  Lighting the candles each night reminded us how beautiful something as simple as candlelight can be.

Faye and Maddie enjoying Daddy's delicious latkes!

Haukkah fare.

Mommy and a little Hanukkah cheer!

Showing off her high heels and cute tummy!

Faye in her new high heels (she and Maddie like to wear one dress and use the other as a cape).

The girls posing in their new dresses, we asked them to pose in their new dresses and  they both struck these poses.

Faye lighting the Hanukkiah.

DANCE PARTY!!! This next series is the girls in the middle of one of their  many dance parties.  David and I usually join in, too.  They were having so much fun and being so silly.  They really are best friends and compliment each other so well.  Such fun sweet girls.  I love these ladies!!!

Maddie so seriously lighting the Hanukkiah.
