First day of school

Faye is now in grade 2 and Maddie grade 1...slow down time!  

Before we left for the first day of school, I asked them to smile for the camera.  Maddie gave a big thumbs down to school. She said,"I am very anxious, I don't want to go." She did not know what exactly to expect. 

I asked her to be brave and smile again, this time I got a thumbs up! They are enjoying their first week, all smiles at pickup. I am so happy they are there together. Faye already started a nature/ explorer/ treasure seeker club during recess. Faye leads the kids around & Maddie is always in her clubs. Love them tremendously!
