Tennyson Basketball

This year I helped coached the grade 7 girls at Maddie’s school in basketball. I was titled head coach as I was the first to volunteer, but had 3 other coaches. We started practicing end of 2021 and finally got to play 4 games in April. There were 17 grade 7 girls, most with big competitive personalities. It was SO much fun!!  Maddie was my star, she worked so hard on & off the court to improve her skills. She played point guard and was a great defensive player. She also scored the first 2 pts for her team this season, like her Mom when I was in grade 7…although I never scored again, Maddie scored many more times. Go Tigers!
