Happy Halloween and Back into the Groove

Our little ladies were ballerina's for Halloween and Faye loved saying, "tutu." They were adorable! Faye loved greeting trick or treaters at the door and giving them candy. Maddie just like shaking the smarties candy boxes (a Canadian candy similar to M&M's...yes they also have M&M's). We went to a Halloween party of some friends of ours who were in our prenatal class and their daughter, Penelope, is just 2 weeks younger than Maddie. Maddie just learned to clap and we caught Faye on camera trying to help Maddie clap. They both love music and love to dance and clap. We are in a music class and in a program called Mother Goose where we sing lots, so they have lots of fun. Maddie is by far always the loudest one there, squealing and yelling in delight. And Faye is always the one in the middle of the circle smiling and waving at everyone. It must be very stimulating because in the short drive home, they both fell asleep (which never happens). We put pumpkins out this year, we took the easy way out and just drew on the faces. I don't need anything else to clean up or to try and keep the girls from eating! Faye spent about 30 minutes one day on the front porch putting her little pumpkins in the cooler and then taking them out and putting them on the rocker. She just went back and forth with such certainty. It was quite amusing to watch, she is big on putting things into something and taking them out. She loves pumpkins and wants to touch every single one that she sees. She is also big on the word hot and if she sees any sort of flame she yells, "hot, hot, hot" points and starts blowing, to blow it out or cool it off I guess. Maddie is so close to crawling and I can't expect her to be in the same spot as I left her anymore. She is scooting backwards. Maddie loves the jolly jumper and Faye has found a renewed appreciation for it. They both get in it daily and as you will see below, they are very Jolly Jumpers!
