Things we love...

The sound of Faye and Maddie laughing as they chase each other through the house and use Mommy and Daddy as home base. The sweet voice of Faye singing Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, Baa Baa Black Sheep, Open Shut Them, The Wheels on the Bus, Changing Diapers. Maddie giggling at herself, at Faye, at Mommy, at Daddy, at others laughing, when she is tired, etc. Kisses from Faye and Maddie, "more, more!" Sitting down on the floor and having Faye and Maddie back up (beep, beep, beep) to sit in our laps. Faye reciting her favorite books as we turn the pages, word for word. Maddie's enormous appetite. Their heads on our shoulders as we sing Twinkle Twinkle Little Star right before we lay them in their beds. Their love of the outdoors and the little things we may have walked right by that they find so fascinating. How they call our names when they wake up in the morning and after naptime. How they say, "hold you" when they want to be held. Faye's love of shoes and Maddie's love of jackets. Who Faye and Maddie are and who they will become, we love you little ladies!
