Maddie's Birthday Party

Maddie's birthday at school, the earth goes around the sun and Maddie turns...4!

The whole family got to celebrate and Maddie picked Faye first to be the earth.. 

Maddie picked a blue cake for school. Mix it, Maddie mix it, mix it all you can, mix it like a milkshake and pass it to a friend!

We celebrated Maddie's birthday yesterday with friends at our local ice rink, skate party! The kids, about 20 of them, and their parents enjoyed the ice and then to the party room for snacks and cupcakes.  The color theme was light blue, Maddie's favorite color.  Faye and Maddie were 2 of the best ice skaters on the ice and some of the kid had never even been on ice before, leave it to the Arkansans to get a bunch of Canadians on the ice! It was a fun party even though it had a rough start because the ice rink had Maddie's party down for the 24th of March instead of February!! Luckily, there was an available room and a nice gentleman  who sorted it all out for me!

This is us trying to capture Faye giving Maddie her gift. Maddie saw this headband in a store and asked Faye to give it to her for her birthday and Faye said she would, so she did.  It's a gold headband. Maddie loved it and loved that Faye remembered.  Faye was sweet and really let Maddie have her day.
