We spent Easter/ Oyster long weekend in Whistler for a much needed getaway.  The weather was perfect highs in the 60's, sunny and down to freezing at night.  Still lots of snow for skiing.  The girls loved Whistler, who doesn't really.  We took the girls to the top of the mountain and skied lots with them. They are both skiing on their own now, so much fun!  We saw lots of friends in Whistler, some who live there and some friends from Vancouver.  Some friends had us over for a chocolate hunt or as Faye and Maddie call it an "oyster" egg hunt, their first.  We also did some shopping and the girls each got their own dream catchers and apparently they worked, the girls said it caught all their bad dreams!  We also did some swimming in an outdoor heated pool, the girls were in heaven.

This is the only photo we got of the girls in the snow, this is at the base of Whistler.  Also where we watched the fire and ice show.  An exciting show were professional boarders and skiers jumped through a ring of fire and the show ended with fireworks.

David and Faye at Sushi Village, our experience was a bit different with the girls, still a grand time!

CAUTION: Hot Buns...for breakfast!

In the shadows, David, Faye and Maddie with a pretty good view of Whistler village and the mountain.
