Jacobsons came to visit

. . .for only a couple of hours but it was great seeing them and introducing the girls. We squeezed in a brunch, tour of the neighborhood and some play time back at home. The girls took to them right away and below are the photos to prove it. In other news, Maddie has her first tooth (well actually teeth - both bottom front teeth). She is also eating solids - and I mean shoveling in solids. Crazy how polar opposite these girls are - Maddie loves food, Faye eats like a bird; Faye loves her crib at bedtime, Maddie is just getting wound up at bedtime; Faye is go-go-go all day, Maddie can just sit and chill; we thought Faye could be loud, but holly cow Maddie has some pipes! But Tina doesn't want them stereotyped, so here are some of their similarities - they both love bath time, they both love being outside, they both love books and they best of all they both love each other - they have really started interacting with each other, making the other one laugh and squeal. Last week was their six month and one-year check ups. Tina did another installment of super mom and took them to the doctor at the same time without any help - I just want you to picture her carrying two children that can't walk into a public office building and then having them poked and prodded by a doctor . . . Well, here are the latest stats - Faye is 21 lbs (60th percentile in weight - just where you want to be) and 32.5 inches (that's off the charts 100th percentile in height). Maddie also has some legs measuring in at 28 inches (95th percentile in height) but barely tipping the scales at 14 lbs. With the way she is eating solids we'll get that right up before our next visit. All in all they are very healthy and happy!
