A Day in the Park
We spent the morning outside and it was glorious. We were by the water with some cool breezes, thus the girls still needed their toques (that's Canadian for hat!). Faye is learning park equipment at too fast a rate for me. She is climbing ladders, climbing walls, going to the highest spots and basically wanting to do everything. Maddie is still too small to climb up onto all the equipment, she still LOVES the swing, slides, dirt, sticks and anything that resembles a step. They are still amazingly still sharing a room and still wake up talking to one another. They are pretty good at sharing with one another, Faye always ensures Maddie gets whatever she gets and always wants Maddie to be doing what she is doing. Maddie usually obliges. I can now take the occasional short walk to the library (a block away) with both girls and no carrier or stroller. They are pretty good listeners and stay close or hold my hand, but tend to want to walk in opposite directions, which can be challenging for me. Maddie is pretty silly and usually gives all of us a good laugh. Faye entertains us with her awesome singing, she is also learning some of my high school cheers...awesome, yeah baby awesome.
