We have been spending lots of time at the beach this summer and recently spent a lazy Sunday afternoon at Kits Beach. We had a picnic dinner and then played in the water (toes only, although Faye wanted to go all the way in, she is half fish), searched for seashells and chased birds. Our beaches are a little rocky, not the softest or prettiest sand, but still a zen experience and a sure fire way to give the girls (and in return us) a full nights deep sleep.
