Most mornings Maddie and Faye ask Daddy, "are you going to work today, Daddy?" On weekends and holidays he encourages this as he gets to give them the reply they want and for 10 days in December he did just that. We were so happy to have him all to ourselves! We went on family dates (I even wore heels and Maddie pretended to), watched movies (la la la la la...the Smurfs song is stuck in my head), went ice skating at Robson Square (an outdoor/ covered ice rink in the middle of downtown), took the girls skiing (Faye started going down the small hill all by herself), walked/jogged the seawall while the girls biked it, shopped, went on hikes (the girls started riding their bikes on trails), saw lots of holiday lights and really just had lots of fun family time love. It was relaxing and it was pure fun.

Love the slide races, how fun. I am not surprised at all that Faye picks skating up so easy, she is such a determined sweet child!!! love ya'll and miss ya'll!
