Happy Birthday Faye Elyse!!

Happy Birthday Faye! Can't believe you are 2, not "almost two" anymore! You are certainly a HUGE joy to our lives. You teach us new things all the time and continue to amaze us, you are so smart, sweet and active! It's sad that you are not a baby anymore, but I love each new day and am excited about the future with you. We continue to be thankful for Adoption which allowed us to become a family. Thank you Julie for choosing us and for an amazing adoption experience, we are so thankful for all of it! These photos are from today. We got Faye a school bus tent for her bday and balloons, the girls and I got in the school bus tent, played with ribbons (thanks Julie & Montana) and read several books (it's quite roomy in there!). Faye played dress up with her new slippers, tiara and gloves from Kathy & Jack (thank you). This afternoon we took a trip to Cupcakes and ate Pink pink cupcakes, it was such a girly thing to do, we all loved it. Then we ran off our sugar at the park and made silly faces like those of the statues in the Laughter sculptures in English Bay. Faye loved imitating the statues. Maddie liked pointing at the plague and singing her abc’s and then chasing “Saye,” love how she pronounces Faye with an “s.” It was a fun bday. Although, Faye’s 2 year molars are coming in and trying to ruin our fun. The day before her bday they starting causing her serious pain, she was not herself and she had pain written all over her face. Thankfully, today was another story and she told us her “boo boo feels better.” Of course, she could also be talking about her badly skinned knee. She fell running on the sidewalk Monday afternoon and it was so bad she wouldn’t walk on it or let us touch it (after numerous tries to get her to walk). We took her to ER on Tuesday morning and after 10 minutes there, she was running and jumping as if nothing had happened. It was our first trip the ER and a happy ending. Happy Birthday little stinker, I love you and will eat you up I love you so!
